The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) and O'Connor Brewing Company (OBC) are excited to host a veterans comedy open mic featuring veterans, service members, and military family members from the Greater Hampton Roads Areas. General admission tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales will directly support the programming of ASAP.
Comedy Bootcamp is the first stand-up comedy class for veterans, service members, and military family members. Classes culminate with a graduation show at Drafthouse Comedy Theater, with each student delivering a five-minute set to friends, family, and supporters from the DC area. These shows, which typically sell out, provide an engaging outlet to hear the authentic and hilarious voices of our area's veterans and military family members. General Admission tickets are $25 online and at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales directly benefit the Armed Services Arts Partnership, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Join us at the New York Athletic Club (180 Central Park South) on Tuesday, September 19th at 6PM to witness ASAP's impact first-hand. Two alumni of ASAP's Comedy Bootcamp program - Mike Carrasquillo (Army) and Stephanie Kline (USMC) - will perform stand-up comedy. Following the performance, Mike and Stephanie will discuss the difference that ASAP has made in their transition into civilian life. At the event, we will be gratefully accepting contributions to support ASAP's impact in the community. Our suggested donation amount is $500 to $1,000.
