Screenwriting Workshop

Overview: Everyone's got a story to tell, and the screenwriter is the one who breathes life into the characters, conflicts and unique worlds created on the silver screen. Offered as the second session of a summer writing series, this seminar is designed to introduce the three-act structure, the use of conflict to move the story forward, and the creation of compelling characters. The workshop will be led by the Muse's instructors and will be held at the Muse's facilities in Norfolk, VA (2200 Colonial Ave #3, Norfolk, VA 23517). If you've written a screenplay in the past or if you are entirely new to the form, you will learn something valuable about the exciting challenges of visual storytelling.

When & Where: The workshop will take place on August 25th from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM at the Muse Writers Center 2200 Colonial Ave #3, Norfolk, VA 23517.
