After graduating from Amherst College, Devon began her career in higher education disability services before transitioning into the non-profit sector. She then moved to England to earn an MA in Shakespeare and Creativity, for which she integrated her professional work with performing arts and academic research. During the MA, she led an all-female, multi-national Ensemble of thirteen as Production and Company Manager for “Stripp’d” and “Fourplay”— two original plays that premiered at the Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Other Place theatre. Additionally, she performed as Ophelia in “Fourplay” and spoke about using Shakespeare to help heal the traumatized brain at two major conferences.

Long-term, Devon plans to use applied theatre to bring transformation to people who have experienced significant trauma.
