Amanda Horne | Intern
Amanda Horne is a graduate of Miami University with a degree in Sociology and Criminology and sub major of Political Science. Her work on juvenile court training concerning mediation for youth with serious mental health issues earned her Honors status. She is now a Master Candidate in Gerontology (MGS); her work focuses on mental health over the life course. She currently works with AARP & WHO on community livability and development of grassroots organizations. Amanda professionally stage and production manages, having successfully produced over 12 professional shows in the last 5 years. She has created and facilitated multiple arts-based activities including “Buddy Night at the Opera” and personalized nursing home productions. She has presented for TEDx and other conferences on her areas of study.
